Humanity has been given an exclusive Savior with an inclusive message, “Whoever calls on Jesus will be saved” (Romans 10:9-13; Romans 3:22-23). In repentance, we acknowledge and turn from our sin (2 Cor 7:10).  In baptism, we declare our allegiance to Christ, wash away the blemishes of sin, and rise to new life in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-5).  Christ doesn’t physically live on Earth anymore, but the Holy Spirit is sent from Heaven to minister salvation and gifts to us all (Luke 11:13, John 14:25-26; Acts 1:8; Acts 8:14-17; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).  We grow spiritually mature through a lifetime of active discipleship. This includes learning God’s Word via personal study and spiritual leadership, loving others, and trusting God in all scenarios (Ephesians 4:11-15; John 8:31; John 13:34-35; Romans 8:28). We believe Heaven is “paradise” or the “dwelling place of God” and is the anticipated privilege of every believer in Christ; Hell is real but is not to be feared by those who find their identity in Christ Jesus (Luke 23:42-43; Revelation 21:2-8).
